EWC Scholarship

Requirements

The Kerrville Executive Women’s Club will once again offer a $4,000.00 scholarship, renewable annually for four years if recipient criteria are met.  Our scholarship is open to current senior high school girls that are enrolled in an accredited Kerr County High School.  This scholarship will be paid twice during the year at $2,000.00 per semester. We will only choose one recipient for this scholarship.  It is important that each applicant carefully fills out this application and furnishes The Kerrville Executive Women’s Club with all information that is requested.  Below is a list of everything that needs to be included with application.

Please attach a brief paragraph of future goals.
Write a brief explanation of why you desire this scholarship
Enclose a signed and sealed copy of your transcript with SAT or ACT scores.
Enclose a picture of yourself.

Scholarship applications must be received by Donna Bueche no later than 4-10-2018. Scholarships must be mailed directly to Donna or turned into your school’s counselor by the deadline date.

2017 scholarship recipient, Kendall Jensen. Kendall was the Salutatorian at Ingram Tom Moore High School. She is the daughter of Jennifer Christiansen. She is planning on attending Baylor University studying Pre-Neuroscience. Her activities include: National Honor Society, Student Council, Class Officer, Interact Club, Key Club, Thespian Club, Varsity Tennis, Varsity Volleyball, One Act Play and Fall Show.

Tivy High School

2016 scholarship recipient, Lizet Adriana Garcia. Lizet is a graduate of Tivy High School and will be attending Texas A&M Corpus Christi, majoring in kinesiology. She is the daughter of Patricia Alva and Victor Garcia. She was involved with Tivy High School activities and with the Kerrville community. Lizet was vice president of the Tivy Peer Assistance and Leadership Club and a member of the Interact Rotary Club.

Abigail Sanchez

Tivy High School

2015 scholarship recipient, Abigail Sanchez. Abigail is the daughter of Effie and Harold Sanchez. She was ranked #12 out of 301 students at Tivy High School.  Abigail plans to study health sciences-physical therapy at The University of Central Arkansas. Abigail is very involved in community service, played in the school orchestra (cellist) and was involved with competitive cheerleading and dance to live a healthy and happy life.
